The restaurant is surrounded by trees and guests can look out over the peaceful garden and forget they’re in the heart of one of the world’s largest cities. Daradalay offers different varieties of Khao Soi including pork, chicken and a vegetarian mushroom version cooked with organic, homegrown produce. 2. Khao Soi (50 THB) - Hann Khao Soi Lovers
Hann Khao Soi Lovers moved to a different location due to popularity. Before, Hann Khao Soi Lovers was located in an alley close to Ari BTS Station, which is a popular alley to get cheap and delicious food. Especially during lunch, when office workers and university students in the area are looking for a delicious meal, this alley is crowded. In other words, it's well worth the visit as well. Nowadays, you can find Hann Khao Soi Lover a Saliratthawiphak Road, a busy road between Ari BTS and Saphan Kwai BTS. Hann Khao Soi Lovers is changed into a real restaurant with air conditioning and more seats. The menu is also expanded, however, the three most popular dishes still remain on the menu: Khao Soi and two different, typically Northern Thai rice noodle curries.
The Khao Soi is by far the favourite and can be seen as one of the best khao soi in Bangkok. The authenticity of their speciality is what makes hungry Thai come back on a weekly basis. What changed at the brand-new restaurant as well, is the fact that doesn't run out of Khao Soi anymore, which used to be the case when Hann Khao Soi Lovers was still a street food vendor. So you don't have to worry that you can't taste this heavenly curry when you visit this restaurant. One of the things that didn't change is the price. 3. Khao Soi (69 THB) - Ong Thong Khao Soi
Ong Thong’s first restaurant was located in Chiang Mai and due to its massive success, the owners opened a Bangkok branch in 2017. This was a good move, as Ong Thong quickly gained popularity among Bangkok residents for serving one of the capital’s best Khao Soi. Ong Thong Khao Soi specializes in all sorts of Northern Thai treats, including Northern Thai Sausage and Boiled Field Crab but as the name suggests, the main draw is the Khao Soi. The two-floor, modern restaurant is located close to Ari BTS Station. Compared to the other Khao Soi dishes on our list, this version has a deeper colour because of the herbs they use. Prices range from 69 – 109 THB. 4. Khao Soi (35 THB) - Sibsong Banna Noodle House
This small restaurant is located in Silom Soi 3 and is as yet undiscovered by tourists. It is however well-known among local food lovers and during lunch hours you have to wait in line to get a spot at this popular Khao Soi restaurant. Like others on this list, the menu at Sibsong Banna Noodle House is limited and mainly focuses on Khao Soi. You can choose between chicken, pork and beef and at just 35 THB for a regular bowl, this is the cheapest Khao Soi on our list. 5. Khao Soi (165 THB) - Ginger Farm Kitchen
In 2019, the popular Northern Thai Ginger Farm Kitchen that is based in Chiang Mai opened several branches in Bangkok. The idea behind Ginger Farm Kitchen is a combination of stunning looking branches with a countryside feeling and amazing looking Northern Thai dishes created with homegrown ingredients. The menu is Ginger Farm Kitchen is amazing and even after visiting this restaurant several times, we still get excited by the dishes we haven't tried yet. Obviously, a Northern Thai restaurant such as Ginger Farm Kitchen serves Khao Soi, and like all the other dishes, the Khao Soi is authentically flavoured, but also beautifully presented. The Khao Soi at Ginger Farm Kitchen is incredibly creamy and the curry itself is finished with roasted sesame seeds which give the curry a hearty touch. Bonus: Khao Soi (50 THB) - Nisara (near Suvarnabhumi Airport)
Although not located in Bangkok, but in Lat Krabang, which is close to Suvarnabhumi Airport, there is a unique local eatery that serves Thai halal dishes including an authentic, traditional Khao Soi. The big difference between this type of Khao Soi and regular Khao Soi you find in Bangkok and other places in Thailand is that this Khao Soi is much oilier. This has to do with the way they process the curry paste. The Khao Soi is served with roti which you can dip in the curry.
