In this article, we cover cheap eats in Pattaya that are also among the best eateries you can find in Pattaya. We aim to recommend you restaurants that serve excellent food under 100 THB, with a few exceptions here and there. First, we cover cheap local restaurants, then

Best cheap eats in Pattaya are:

1. Pa Tidd

Pa Tidd is a local restaurant that has all the qualifications for being a great cheap eat in Pattaya. The restaurant opens its doors ten o’clock in the morning and from the moment on, hungry Thai will constantly visit this place until it closes its doors at three o’clock in the afternoon. The menu is large, but unfortunately, written in Thai language only. Most dishes cost around 70 to 100 THB per portion. We highly recommend the Krapao Seafood with Rice (80 THB), the Crispy Fried Egg Spicy Salad (120 THB) and the Stir-Fried Crispy Pork with Garlic (70 THB). Pa Tidd is located near Jomtien Beach, away from most touristic restaurants and still has that authentic vibe. More information about this cheap restaurant in Pattaya, such as the location, opening times, menu and reviews, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Pa Tidd.

2. Lab Ubon Pattaya Thai Restaurant

Lab Ubon Pattaya Thai Restaurant is one of our favourite local restaurants as it serves impressive Isaan foods. If you can handle a bit of spice, Lab Ubon Pattaya Thai Restaurant is the place to be. Most dishes on the menu cost you between 70 and 120 THB, but they do offer a variety of larger plates for groups, which are still relatively cheap. If you come with a group, we highly recommend you to order one of their papaya salad platters, for example, the Som Tum Seafood Mix In Tray (300 THB). But these papaya salads also come in smaller portions that cost you between 50 and 80 THB. We also highly recommend you to order the Deep-Fried Pork Belly with Fish Sauce (150 THB), which you, again, can easily share with several people. Finally, their Laab Moo (80 THB) is amazing too with authentic, non-touristy flavours. More information about this cheap restaurant in Pattaya, such as the location, opening times, menu and reviews, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Lab Ubon Pattaya Thai Restaurant.

Jae Tho Beef Noodles is a popular local eatery located near the highway to Bangkok and is for many, a great stop once you just entered Pattaya by car. But it’s not that far located from Pattaya’s city centre. Jae Tho Beef Noodles is one of the few vendors at this tiny food court and serves really impressive beef noodles. What we like a lot about this place is that although the place is very basic, it’s impressively clean. A bowl of Stewed Beef Noodle Soup cost you 60 THB, like many other dishes cost. Other highly recommended cheap eats are Stewed Pork Noodle Soup, Khao Man Kai Mixed, Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste and Grilled Pork Balls in Chilli Sauce (45 THB). 4. Mony Restaurant

Mony Restaurant is among the best cheap eats in Pattaya as it serves tasty, affordable Thai and Western food that is halal too. The owner of the restaurant, who is also the chef, mastered her skills in France and once she came back to Thailand, opened a restaurant that serves tasty, clean food. A good example of the skills she learned in France can be seen with her Grilled Chicken Cutlet with Fries and Pepper Sauce, which costs 200 THB. The fries are amazing, the chicken is well seasoned and grilled and the pepper sauce is exactly according to Western standards. The menu is full of Western classics such as Steak Tartare, Cordon Blue, Chicken Parmesan and a Burger. But her Thai dishes are outstanding too with excellent ingredients and spices adjusted to the Western taste palette. Thai dishes only cost you 80 to 120 THB.
