Looking for the best restaurants in Chiang Mai? Look no further as we selected the best restaurants we’ve visited during our stay in Chiang Mai. In this article, we cover a wide variety of restaurants ranging from legendary local restaurants to modern mid-range Thai restaurants in Chiang Mai making sure there is a great option for every type of traveller and budget. Besides must-visit Thai restaurants, we also recommend a handful of international restaurants that are among the best restaurants in Chiang Mai. Without further ado, let’s jump into our recommendations.

The best restaurants in Chiang Mai are:

1. Khao Soy Maesai

When visiting Chiang Mai, eating the Northern Thai speciality Khao Soi should be on your list of things to do and the Khao Soi at Khao Soy Maesai is, in our opinion, the best khao soi you can found in the city. This local restaurant, which is among the most popular restaurants in Chiang Mai, is open from 08:00 until 16:00 from Monday until Saturday and especially around lunchtime, this place is packed with hungry locals. There are four different versions of Khao Soi available, namely beef, pork, chicken leg and a vegetarian option. What makes the Khao Soi so tasty is that it has the deepest and richest flavour we’ve tasted of all Khao Soi restaurants in Chiang Mai.

Famous Khao Soi at Khao Soy Maesai

Besides Khao Soi, there are four different popular local noodle dishes available, but the majority of the visitors come here to eat the Khao Soi. We strongly recommend visiting Khao Soy Maesai when you’re in Chiang Mai as it serves the best version of the dish that Chiang Mai is famous for. If you’re looking for other highly recommended Khao Soi restaurants, check out our article about the best Khao Soi in Chiang Maie. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Khao Soi Maesai

2. Huen Muan Jai

Where the previous restaurant was solely specialized in one typical Northern Thai dish, this restaurant is specialized in traditional Thai dishes. The cool thing about Huen Muan Jai is that the food is served in smaller bowls, almost like tapas, which makes it an excellent place to explore several dishes and flavours of the famous Northern Thai cuisine. For that reason, and the fact that the restaurant is beautifully decorated in traditional Northern Thai style, Huen Man Jai is among the most popular restaurants in Chiang Mai. In fact, if you don’t have a reservation during the high season period, it’s almost a guarantee that you have wait in a long queue. But a visit to Huen Muan Jai is well-worth it.

Highly recommended appetizer platter known as Or Dep Muang (220 THB)

We recommend you to try at least one of the following dishes. The first dish we recommend is the Or Dep Muang (220 THB), which is a variety of Northern Thai appetizers. This is a perfect dish to try several different, unique flavours. The second dish we recommend is the Khua Hor (80 THB), which is a herby stir-fried curry with pork and mixed veggies. The last highly recommended dish is the Gang Aom Moo (80 THB), which is a Northern-style red curry, which is more like a soup than curry but packed with so many delicious flavours and herbs. For more in-depth information about this restaurant, check out our in-depth review of Huen Muan Jai. More general information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Huen Muan Jai.

3. SP Chicken

SP Chicken is a small local restaurant in Chiang Mai that gives you the ultimate local food experience. As the name already suggests, SP Chicken is specialized in … chicken. Roasted chicken to be precise. In front of the restaurant is a rotisserie that slowly roasts the small birds until they are golden brown. A half portion of roasted chicken only costs you 90 THB and when you combine it with a papaya salad (40 THB) and an ice-cold beer (70 THB), you have a fantastic meal. Besides their signature roasted chicken, SP Chicken also serves really tasty Grilled Beef (80 THB). For more in-depth information about this restaurant, check out our in-depth article about SP Chicken in Chiang Mai. More general information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of SP Chicken.

4. The HOUSE by Ginger

The HOUSE by Ginger is a beautiful Thai restaurant that serves impressive Thai food with homegrown vegetables. Both the food as the restaurant itself looks stunning and a visit to The HOUSE by Ginger is one of the coolest foodie experiences the city has to offer. Although pricier than the majority of the restaurants in Chiang Mai listed in this article, the few extra bucks that you pay are so worth it. Only by looking at the pictures on the menu, you get hungry already and actually all the dishes we tried were simply amazing. The following dishes we tried and we recommend you try them as well.

Impressive, colourful food can be found at The HOUSE by Ginger

One of our favourites dishes was the Slow-Braised Beef in Lime-Coconut Reduction (280 THB). This balanced curry is packed with exciting herbs and well-balanced with creamy and sour flavours. Another amazing dish we tried was the Seared Scallops in Coconut-Chili Dressing (450 THB), which is made with fresh scallops and plenty of spices. Other recommended dishes are the GINGER 7 Kafe Mixed Appetizer Plate (310 THB), Tom Yum Gung (295 THB) and the Deep-Fried Prawn and Crab Cakes (295 THB). More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of The HOUSE by Ginger.

5. Thajene Chomchan

Thajene Chomchan is in our opinion, the best seafood restaurants in Chiang Mai and deserves a high place in this listing. The restaurant opens its doors at five o’clock in the afternoon after it receives its daily fresh seafood and from that moment on, hungry Thai as well as foreigners come and enjoy their seafood creations. Thajene Chomchan has plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings and if it’s not too warm, the outside area which its surrounded by plants is the best area to dine. The menu of Thajene Chomchan is large and like the majority of Thai seafood restaurants, the sky is the limit when it comes to exotic seafood options. For example, the Giant Grilled River Prawns costs you 800 THB for two large enormous prawns, which are highly recommended.

For the best seafood in town, head over to Thajene Chomchan

Another amazing seafood option is the Deep-Fried Seabass with Fish Sauce (390 THB), which is a beautifully crisp-fried sea bass with a spicy and sour dipping sauce. For a more regional option, we recommend you trying their Nam Prik Pu Kai, which is a typical Northern Thai dip with crab meat and veggies to dip with. But honestly, every seafood option we tried was excellent and made from good-quality seafood. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Thajene Chomchan.

6. Kuay Jub Nam Kon

Kuay Jub Nam Kon is a small, local restaurant that is specialized in Kuay Jub, a noodle soup with crispy pork. But the crispy pork that is also listed one their tiny menu is, in our opinion, even more delicious than the signature soup. The reason why we choose the crispy pork above the noodle soup is that the noodle soup is served with a variety of intestines, a delicacy that Thai love but foreigners often don’t. The crispy pork is really crunchy on the outside, yet the meat it lovely tender on the inside. You can order the crispy pork with or without rice and the crispy pork is finished with plenty of heavenly, sweet sauce. A plate of this delicious pork, rice and gravy only costs you 60 THB. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Kuay Jub Nam Kon.

7. Khao Soi Khun-Yai

Khao Soi Khun-Yai is among the best Khao Soi restaurants in Chiang Mai, similar to the other Khao Soi restaurant we recommended earlier in this article. A quick search on the internet will show you that these two restaurants always turn up either number one or number two when it comes to serving the best Khao Soi, so a visit to Khao Soi Khun-Yai is highly recommended. The restaurant is only open between 10:00 and 14:00 and is closed on Sunday. Khao Soi Khun-Yai is so popular that sometimes, the heavenly curry is already sold out before closing time. The main reason why people visit this place is obviously for the Khao Soi (40-60 THB), but there are two other highly popular dishes available too, namely the Spicy Noodle Soup (40-50 THB) and the Noodle Soup (30 THB). More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Khao Soi Khun-Yai.

8. Pakorn’s Kitchen

Some of the descriptions of our favourite restaurants in Chiang Mai doesn't have to be as long: simply put it like this, Pakorn’s Kitchen is among our favourite local restaurants in Chiang Mai because it serves impressive curries. For obvious reasons, we top-listed Pakorn's Kitchen in our article about the best curries in Chiang Mai. Although the large twenty-two-page menu is full with other classic Thai dishes, such as Laab, Pad Kra Pao and Fried Rice, we highly recommend you to try either their Creamy Tom yum Kung with Noodles (120 THB) or their superb Chicken Massaman Curry (150 THB). The Khao Soi Beef (80 THB) is also incredibly creamy and the creamiest Khao Soi we’ve tried in Chiang Mai. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Pakorn's Kitchen.

9. Tong Tem Toh

Tong Tem Toh is another restaurant in Chiang Mai that is specialized in Northern Thai cuisine and is a hugely popular place to dine. Before we dive into the most recommended food, it’s good to know that Tong Tem Toh is more of a trendy restaurant compared to other restaurants that focus on the Northern Thai cuisine and for that reason, it attracts the younger generations of Thai. The menu at Tong Tem Toh is of decent size with twenty-five different, and quite unique dishes you won’t easily find elsewhere in Thailand. We recommend you to try at least one of the following dishes.

Authentic Northern Thai food can be found at Tong Tem Toh restaurant in Chiang Mai.

The most popular food option at Tong Tem Toh is the Northern Style Hors D’Oeuvre (173 THB), a platter with a variety of dips, vegetables and meats. The idea is to dip the vegetables in the spicy and herby dips in order to get a true flavour explosion in your mouth. The different types of meat, which includes Chiang Mai sausage and crispy pork, give this sharing platter more texture. Absolutely delicious! Another amazing dish you should try is the Burmese Style Pork Curry (73 THB), which is a tasty curry with super tender, melt-in-your-mouth-pork. Other popular dishes are the Fried Sweet Leaves with Egg (83 THB), the Deep-Fried Streaky Pork in Fish Sauce (72 THB) and the Northern Style Chinese Choi Soup (73 THB). For more in-depth information about this restaurant, check out our in-depth article about Tong Tem Toh. More general information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Tong Tem Toh.

10. Kiet Ocha Khao Man Kai

Kiet Ocha Khao Man Kai is the place to go if you are craving for Khao Man Kai, which is the Thai version of Hainanese chicken with rice. Khao Man Kai is a popular street food dish that you can easily find throughout the country and is a comforting dish. The steamed chicken is served with flavoured, garlicky rice, instead of plain steamed rice. And the best part of Khao Man Kai is the ginger soi sauce. At Kiet Ocha Khao Man Kai, you can also find Fried Chicken with Steamed Rice (40 THB), which is a great alternative to the Steamed Chicken with Rice (40 THB) if you’re looking for more savoury flavour and crunchy texture. This restaurant is perfect for a quick yet super tasty bite. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Kiet Ocha Khao Man Kai.

11. Lert Ros

Lert Ros is among the most popular local Thai restaurants in Chiang Mai as it serves excellent, affordable, flavorful Thai dishes that excite both Thai as foreigners. Lert Ros is so popular that visitors often have to wait in line in order to get a seat. What makes Lert Ros so special are three specialities that you won’t find elsewhere. The first speciality is their Grilled Red Tilapia with Salt (Pla-Pao) which only cost 140 THB. That’s right, a whole fish for only 140 THB. In front of the restaurant, the staff is preparing all these grilled fish in bulk as every customer orders this famous dish. The second speciality at Lert Ros is the Pork Curry in Banana Leaves (40 THB), a delicious dish that’s so cheap that you can’t not order it! The last speciality is the Grilled Beef with Spicy Dipping Sauce (70 THB), which is a nice salty side dish that goes perfect together with a cold beer and a papaya salad (30 THB). The restaurant does not look inviting with an outdated interior, but don’t judge the book by its cover as the food is really exciting. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Lert Ros.

12. Cherng Doi Roast Chicken

We earlier mentioned that SP Chicken serves the best roast chicken in Chiang Mai. But SP Chicken has a competitor, namely Cherng Doi Roast Chicken, that is specialized in roasted chicken too and it’s so good that we have no other choice than list this restaurant in this article as well. The big difference between these two hugely popular places is that the chicken at Cherng Doi Roast Chicken is slow-roasted, giving it a different texture and is slightly more tender. Similar to SP Chicken, we recommend you ordering the roasted chicken with a papaya salad as this is the perfect combination. A portion of so-called Kai Yang (roasted chicken) cost you 85 THB and a plate of Som Tam Thai cost you 40 THB. There are other tasty Isaan options here as well if you can handle the spiciness. The Kaduk-Om Tom Makan (75 THB) is one of the best alternatives, which is a sour and spicy soup with pork spareribs. Keep in mind that the soup is pretty spicy! More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Cherng Doi Roast Chicken.

13. Kao Soy Nimman

Kao Soy Nimman is the third restaurant that we list in this article that is known for its Khao Soi, however, Kao Soy Nimman has much more to offer than Khao Soi. Yes, the Khao Soi (79 THB) is tasty, especially their Kao Soy Super Bowl (169 THB) which is packed with seafood, roasted pork and Chiang Mai sausage. But there are other really tasty Northern Thai foods to find here as well. One of these excellent Northern Thai dishes is the Larb Moo (99 THB), which is a Northern Thai version of the classic Laab dish. What does that mean? The Laab in the North is much herby and fragrant than Laab you find elsewhere in Thailand. When you’re in the North, we strongly recommend to try it out yourself as we believe it’s actually more tasty than the common, Isaan-version of Laab.

Another tasty option is the Nam Ngeaw, which is a hugely popular, spicy Northern Thai curry. At Kao Soy Nimman, the curry is separately served with noodles, pickles and crispy pork. Keep in mind that the spicy curry is served with blood curd, an ingredient that even we are not that fond of. The final recommended dish is the Hors d’Oeuvre Muang (259 THB), which is an appetizer plater with vegetables, different sausages and two herby dips. Absolutely delicious! More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Kao Soy Nimman.

14. Paak Dang Riverside Restaurant

Paak Dang Riverside Restaurant is like Thajene Chomchan among the most popular seafood restaurants in Chiang Mai. The food options are similar and the good thing about Paak Dang Riverside Restaurant is the riverside view. The menu is a bit smaller than Thajene Chomchan, but both have similar pricing. One of the highlights of the menu is the Phad Pong Curry with Soft Shell Crab (450 THB). This is a tasty curry with crab that you can eat completely with shell and all. Although the dish is served with large chillies, the curry is not spicy at all and is one of those must-try Thai dishes when you are in Thailand. Another amazing seafood dish is their Tom Yum Seafood (350 THB), which is a large portion of creamy tom yum soup with a good variety of seafood that includes mussels, squid and prawns.

A must-order is their Crispy Prawn Cakes with Pomelo Salad (180 THB), which is a perfect combination of deep-fried prawn cakes with a spicy, sour, fresh salad. If you’re looking for amazing seafood in combination with a good riverside view, Paak Dang Riverside Restaurant is the place to go. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Paak Dang Riverside Restaurant.

15. Khao Kha Moo Chang Phueak

One of the most famous street food vendors in Chiang Mai is Khao Kha Moo Chang Phueak, also known as ‘the lady with the cowboy hat’. Every day at five o’clock her food cart opens and from that moment on both locals as foreigners enjoy a plate of Stewed Pork Leg with Rice (30 THB). This non-spicy Thai dish is a good mixture of sweet and savoury flavours and you can’t find a better version of it in Chiang Mai than at Khao Kha Moo Chang Phueak. Keep in mind that the stewed pork is served with pork skin, which is not an ingredient that every foreigner likes. Another hugely popular, yet adventurous dish is the Stewed Pork Intestines (50 THB), which is a delicacy for many Thai. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Khao Kha Moo Chang Phueak.

16. SS1254372 Cafe

SS1254372 Cafe is one of many cool cafes you can find in Chiang Mai and is located right next to an art gallery, which you can visit for free. But even though the atmosphere is unique, what matters is the quality of the food. Luckily, at SS1254372 Cafe you don’t have to worry about that as the food here is simply amazing. One of the bestsellers is the Fruity French Toast (185 THB), which is a beautifully presented colourful dish with delicious French toast and a variety of seasonal fruits. The signature SS Benedict (175 THB) is another popular option here, which is an egg Benedict with grilled eggplant and edible flowers. Other popular dishes are the Mussamun Beef Sandwich (195 THB) and the Chicken Avo (195 THB). More in-depth information can be found in our in-depth article of SS1254372 in Chiang Mai. 17. Fern Forest Cafe

Fern Forest Cafe is a beautiful oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee with one of their signature cakes, or enjoy their mostly international-orientated menu which consists of soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches, breakfasts and desserts. As said, the restaurant, which is a colonial building, is beautifully decorated and the outdoor area is surrounded by plants. The whole beautiful setting of this restaurant attracts many customers and you can expect the restaurant to be packed during lunchtime.

One of the best places in Chiang Mai for breakfast and lunch.

One of the most recommended breakfast options is their Pancakes with Seasonal Fruits (175 THB). The pancakes are airy, yet a bit crispy and savoury. The pancakes are served with granola for the crunch and season fruits with whipped cream for the sweetness. Another great option is their Spinach-Mushroom and Cheese Roti (175), which is among the bestsellers. If you visit Fern Forest Cafe just for drinks, you might want to consider to order their homemade, signature Coconut Creme Cake (95 THB) as well as this is just a phenomenal cake! More in-depth information can be found in our in-depth article about Fern Forest Cafe in Chiang Mai. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Fern Forest Cafe.

18. Pun Pun Vegetarian Slow Food

Chiang Mai is home to many exciting vegetarian restaurants and among them is Pun Pun Vegetarian Slow Food, the opposite of fast food. The reason why we list this place is because of the unique dishes that are served here that are packed with exciting flavours that even non-vegetarian simply adore. One of the specialities of Pun Pun Vegetarian Slow Food are their curries and the Indian Curry served with Chapati (80 THB) is incredibly tasty. Another bestseller is their Deep-Fried Homemade Sesame Tofu Topped With Mushroom, Vegetable and Sesame Oil (80 THB). If you are looking for exciting, fairly-priced, unique (vegetarian) dishes, Pun Pun Vegetarian Slow Food is an excellent choice. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Pun Pun Vegetarian Slow Food.

19. By Hand Pizza Cafe

If you are craving for pizza, By Hand Pizza Cafe is the best option in Chiang Mai in our opinion, although we do recommend another amazing place further down the article. At By Hand Pizza Cafe, where they are specialized in pizza only, you can expect wood-fired oven pizzas with an incredible crust and plenty of toppings that excite any type of food lover. As we mentioned before, Chiang Mai is a vegetarian-friendly city and By Hand Pizza Cafe has a large variety of vegetarian and vegan pizzas, including gluten-free pizzas, which is nowadays an important factor. But of course, there is a large variety of non-vegetarian pizzas available too. Prices vary between 170 THB to 345 THB per pizza, which we believe is very reasonable. It’s difficult to recommend specific pizzas as everyone has their own preferences when it comes to toppings, but we really enjoyed our Summer Pizza (285 THB), which is topped with Italian cured ham, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and fresh ricotta cheese. One other interesting pizza is the Vegan Umami Dream (240 THB), which puts the emphasis on umami toppings such as Italian mushrooms, vegan pesto sauce, truffle oil, eggplant and shiitake mushrooms. Mouth-watering, isn’t it? More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of By Hand Pizza Cafe.

20. Nong Bee’s Burmese Restaurant

The Northern Thai cuisine is influenced by the Burmese Cuisine and a cool way to taste where the Northern Thai cuisine is coming from in Chiang Mai is by visiting Nong Bee’s Burmese Restaurant, a small local eatery that serves authentic Burmese food. The menu is small with both Burmese as Thai food options. We would recommend you to try one of the following three Burmese specialities. The first one is their bestseller, the Tea Leaf Salad (40 THB), a herby, vegetarian salad made of fermented tea leaves. Every bite of this famous dish is a true flavour explosion in your mouth. Similar to the Tea Leaf Salad is the recommended Young Tamarind Salad (40 THB) which is also herby and packed with rather unusual flavours that you won’t find quickly elsewhere in Chaing Mai. A more accessible dish for the Western taste palate is their Pork Curry with Potatoes (40 THB), which is a bit similar to a massaman curry. If you’re looking for a good local restaurant with unique flavoured dishes, Nong Bee’s Burmese Restaurant is a great choice. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Nong Bee's Burmese Restaurant.

21. Bagel House Cafe

As the name already suggests, Bagel House Cafe is specialized in bagels and is a hugely popular place for foreigners for both breakfasts as lunch. With over fifteen different types of spreads and creations, there is a bagel for every taste. Besides bagels, there are a handful of breakfast options and salads available too, but the main attraction is obviously the bagels. It’s good to know that all bagels are 100% vegan. One of our favourite bagels was the Lox & Bagel (150 THB), which is a bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, onion and topped with herbs. For the large appetite, we recommend The Mediterranean (125 THB), which is a large bagel with creamy homemade pesto, tomato, leafy greens, avocado and large sunny side fried egg. Similar to The Mediterranean is the Bacon Avocado (120 THB), which is a bagel of choice with a scrambled egg, bacon, onion, avocado, lettuce and tomato. With so many deliciousness, we can assure you that there is a tasty combination to find for everyone! More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location, recommended dishes and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Bagel House Cafe.

22. Rustic & Blue - The Farm Shop

Top-listed in our article about the best breakfast in Chiang Mai, Rustic & Blue - The Farm Shop is a hugely popular place to get amazingly looking and tasting international dishes that are perfect for both breakfast as lunch. This nice cafe serves gorgeous food, probably the most beautiful dishes we’ve seen in Chiang Mai. One of the bestsellers is their Green Egg Benedict (225 THB) and only by looking at it, you start drooling. The egg Benedict is served on a croissant with bacon and covered in a delicious hollandaise sauce and served with roasted sweet potatoes. Another amazing dish is their Grilled Caeser Salad (225 THB), which is made with grilled baby romaine, soft boiled eggs, crispy bacon, grilled brioche, Parmesan cheese and covered in an anchovy vinaigrette. Yes, you probably notice that this restaurant is a foodie-heaven.

For a lighter meal, we highly recommend you try their smoothie bowls, which are all beautifully looking and packed with vitamins. 23. Street Pizza & The Wine House

Street Pizza & The Wine House is another amazing place to get really good pizzas but has more to offer than pizzas alone. It’s the ultimate place for comfort food, enjoying a cocktail and a restaurant with a unique atmosphere. When you compare the pizza with By Hand Pizza Cafe, the crust is thinner and less robust. Is that bad? No, absolutely not, it’s just a different pizza style and everyone has their own preferences. We can guarantee that the pizza here tastes amazing too! There are plenty of classic pizzas to choose from, for example, the Parma Ham (309 THB), the Hawaiian (249 THB) and the Pepperoni (259 THB). But there are some extraordinary toppings available too, such as the Cheese Burger (289 THB), the Chiang Mai Style - with Chiang Mai Sausage (289 THB), the Spicy Sriracha Pizza (269 THB) and the one we tried, the Tandoori Chicken (269 THB).

The menu also consists of a handful of side dishes, which are really interesting and tasty. 24. Myeongdong Korean BBQ

Talking about value for money. For only 169 THB you can have an all-you-can-eat Korean Barbecue. We don't think you can find a better deal than this in Chiang Mai and for that small amount of money, the quality is quite good. Of course, don’t expect top-class meat and seafood, but it’s absolutely not bad at all. Myeongdong Korean BBQ is a perfect place to visit with friends and enjoy a few drinks while stuffing yourself with grilled meats and plenty of Korean side dishes. Due to popularity, this place is always packed so make sure that you arrive on time. More information about this restaurant, such as the opening times, menu, location and other TopTravelFoods users’ opinions, check out the TopTravelFoods review page of Myeongdong Korean BBQ.

25. Rock Me Burger

If you are looking for an insane burger, you must visit Rock Me Burger, which is located near the Tha Phae Gate. Although the menu is full of other comfort food options such as ribs, wings and hot dogs, the main reason why people visit this place is to try their crazy burger creations. For example, their Chessy Nova (280 THB) is 300-gram group beef burger with cheese sauce, sub egg, sautéed mushrooms, green peas and bacon bits and is so high in size, you can fit it properly in your mouth. The Rocking in Hell Burger (190 THB) is the only burger that might fit your mouth, but still has crazy toppings such as cheddar cheese, sunny side egg, champignon mushrooms, spicy hot basil sauce and crispy bacon. Our favourite burger was their Rocking On Heaven (190 THB) which is a 150-gram beef patty with cheddar cheese, scrambled egg, lettuce, tomato, bacon and rock mayo. All burgers are served with really good fries and an onion ring. This is the go-to place when you’re craving for a burger.
